Lotus Way International School in Ibex Meanwood, Lusaka, Zambia seeks a Teaching & Learning Lead for its Cambridge Curriculum program on a full-time basis. This position blends specialist subject classroom instruction with staff development responsibilities, operating under the oversight of the Principal.

Core Duties

The incumbent will conduct structured classroom instruction, mentor staff via peer observations and joint planning, and refine assessment strategies. Additional duties involve running professional development workshops, reviewing academic progress metrics, and collaborating with administration to establish instructional targets.

Qualifications & Requirements

Candidates must hold a recognized teaching credential paired with an appropriate university degree, alongside a minimum of five years of active instructional experience featuring significant Cambridge curriculum exposure. Applicants are required to demonstrate prior leadership or mentoring capability, strong evaluation skills, robust interpersonal abilities, and an explicit dedication to child protection standards. Backgrounds encompassing Department Head, Curriculum Coordinator, or similar supervisory roles are viewed favorably.

Compensation

Remuneration ranges from K15,000 to K25,000 gross monthly, determined by candidate expertise and operational scope.
