Role Overview
BongoHive is seeking a hands-on Digital Marketing Associate to join its Lusaka team on a full-time, 24-month renewable contract featuring a 6-month KPI review. This role operates in a hybrid or remote arrangement, focusing on driving the organization’s digital reach, reputation, and commercial services through AI-driven content creation and platform management.
Core Duties
The incumbent will use artificial intelligence as a primary foundation for brainstorming, drafting, editing, translating, and resizing daily multimedia output. Responsibilities include generating continuous short-form videos, graphics, blogs, newsletters, and audio content, managing multi-channel digital platforms and community engagement, maintaining the WordPress website, executing HubSpot email marketing, and running paid digital campaigns. Additional duties involve delegating complex tasks to interns or freelancers, ensuring strict brand quality assurance, producing commercial and sponsored content, and tracking channel analytics to deliver weekly performance reports.
Requirements
Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Media, or a related field, accompanied by at least 2 to 3 years of hands-on digital marketing and content creation experience. Applicants are required to submit a personal content portfolio showcasing previously produced videos, graphics, and campaigns. Essential proficiencies include strong storytelling and copywriting, multimedia production abilities, deep familiarity with social algorithms, demonstrated AI workflow integration, WordPress and SEO competency, email marketing experience, and solid organizational skills.
